Atrua’s intelligent touch controls solve these control issues.

Atrua’s solutions are optimal for mobile phones. Our highly efficient and portable software is proven to work on most mobile phone platforms. We offer a unified application programming interface, development tools, reference implementations, and support that make it fast and easy for software developers to take advantage of the power of intelligent touch controls.

We offer a portfolio of products built on a common software platform so that mobile phone OEMs and network operators can choose the best control device to fit each unique phone and still provide a consistent interface to software and applications.

We provide fingerprint recognition sensors, miniature joy sticks, TouchDiscs™, rapid scrolling devices, and touch pad products that are all suitable and qualified for mobile phones. These devices have been designed and optimized together along with the associated touch processing software so that they can be easily ported to and operate on even low-end mobile phone platforms based on ARM7 and similar CPUs. The miniature controls have also been designed to fit the mechanical constraints of mobile phone platforms. Some of today’s thin phones require controls that are less than 2 mm thick and Atrua’s ultra-thin touch controls bring those rich control features that were previously restricted to larger handsets to the increasingly popular thin phones. Together with our manufacturing partners, we offer complete keypads with integrated touch controls.

Atrua works with partners to integrate and demonstrate complete applications that speed mobile phone OEMs and network operators  to market and accelerate their time to revenue.  We have bundled these application level solutions into a reference implementation called Atrua TouchPhone.
