Varatouch partners with ITT Industries, Cannon for innovative
Mobile Handset Components
El Dorado Hills, CA-Varatouch, the leading designer of innovative
input devices for consumer products, today announced their new
partnership with ITT Industries, Cannon an international supplier of
connectors, interconnects, cable assemblies, switches, dome arrays and
keypads.
Cannon will license Varatouch's patented Vsense™ technology to develop,
manufacture, market, distribute and support human interface devices (HID)
for their keypad product line for mobile communication devices.

this technology will significantly expand Cannon's mobile handset

Cannon and Varatouch will collaborate to design analog joysticks,
navigation discs and other interface technologies that improve on the
digital devices offered today. These new interface components will
enable a variety of mobile device applications including gaming, GPS,
menu navigation and others. Working with Cannon, Varatouch
collaborates with a global leader with in-depth experience and strong
distribution channels into the mobile device components market.
