Varatouch a New Board -- a New Team The company is getting
attention
El Dorado Hills, CA -- Robert S. Pepper, former founder and CEO of
Level One Communications, now heads the board and an expanding team of
technology innovators at Varatouch.
A leader in analog human input device technology for consumer products,
Varatouch develops and licenses low cost, simple and reliable
interface solutions to help people access and use a host of electronic
products such as cellular telephones, PDAs, and other consumer
products. Joining Pepper on the board are:
- Naoki "Nick" Kanamaru, vice president of sales and marketing at
Flextronics, Japan KK since 2001 and a member of the Flextronics
board of directors.
- Dan Lankford, Capital Valley Ventures partner and former CEO of
BOLDER Technologies and AT&T Microelectronics in Europe.
- James Smith brings 20 years experience as a senior level
executive in high-technology development and a proven venture
capitalist.
- Craig Vachon, is an investor and start-up specialist for nascent
technology companies. Vachon has raised more than $940 million in
new investments throughout his career. He is CEO at Varatouch.
Vachon, with the board's encouragement, headed the successful
effort to assemble a world-class team to support Varatouch's growing
traction in the development of human interface solutions to the access
of electronic devices.
