Portugal, Openwave's technology lets callers shoot their own video message or
choose one from Britney Spears or Clint Eastwood. Companies may use it to
leave ads as messages.
Security
Fingerprint: Atrua, working with a Chinese maker
called Yulong, aims to let you use a scan of your index finger to pry open
your messages. It may debut in a year. Face Scan: Omron Corp. of Japan
unveiled face-recognition technology for camera phones in February. Snap a
picture of yourself with your phone and it grants access only after verifying
you as the owner.
