Varatouch Technology, which develops pointing systems for use in
hand-held devices, has named a new board of directors.
The El
Dorado Hills company will be headed by Chief Executive Officer Craig
Vachon, an investor with expertise in startups.
Other board members include Chairman Robert Pepper, founder of Level
One Communications; Naoki Kanamaru, an executive with Flextronics,
an Asian technology manufacturer; former AT&T executive Dan Lankford,
now of the investment group Capital Valley Ventures; and venture
capitalist James Smith.
