AuthenTec Announces Meeting Date for Annual Stockholders’ Meeting

MELBOURNE, Fla., June 7, 2010 – AuthenTec (NASDAQ:AUTH), a leading provider of security, identity management and touch control solutions, announced today that its Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on July 26, 2010 at 9:00  a.m. ET at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place, located at 200 Rialto Place, Melbourne, Florida 32901.  AuthenTec has also announced that its Board of Directors has set the close of business on Monday, June 7, 2010 as the record date for determining who may vote at the Annual Meeting. All stockholders as of the record date are invited to attend the Annual Meeting where AuthenTec CEO Scott Moody will provide a business update.
