ANTHONY GIOELI
President and CEO
Anthony has over 15 years of experience managing
fast growth high technology companies. Before joining
Atrua as CEO, he was Senior Vice President, Worldwide
Sales at Nomadix, a leading company providing public-access
networking solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Gioeli was
President of AirPrime, Inc. where he was responsible
for driving revenue growth by assembling and growing
a cross-functional team to meet the specific requirements
of OEM customers worldwide. He drove the establishment
of customer partnerships with SprintPCS, Verizon Wireless,
KT Freetel (Korea) and Handspring. Before joining AirPrime,
Mr. Gioeli served as Vice President of Xircom's worldwide
OEM business. There, he established and grew Xircom's
OEM sales to more than a $200 million run rate worldwide
by creating partnerships with leading notebook PC vendors,
including Compaq, Dell, HP, IBM and Toshiba.
Anthony began his career at AT&T and later held
senior management positions at Compaq. He holds a BSEE
from New York Institute of Technology and an MBA in
finance from the University of Southern California.

ANTHONY P. RUSSO
Chief Technology Officer
Tony is a founding member of Atrua, joining the
company in early 2001. A well-known fingerprint expert,
Tony has been designing fingerprint algorithms since
1986. He was a co-founder of Veridicom in 1997, where
he served as its Distinguished Staff Technologist
after previously holding the positions of Software
Director and Senior Scientist. He also has extensive
expertise in pattern recognition and neural networks.
Among his notable technical achievements are invention
of the first viable fingerprint matcher for 8-bit
Smartcards (1999) and participation in the design
of the first silicon fingerprint sensor (1995), which
became Veridicom's first product.
Tony earned a BSEE from Columbia University
and an MSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute,
where his Master's thesis investigated efficient
fingerprint processing algorithms. From 1985 to 1997,
he worked for Bell Laboratories and was named a Distinguished
Member of Technical Staff in 1994, the youngest person
to have gained that achievement.

LUNJI QIU
Vice President and General Manager of Atrua
China
Lunji brings over 15 years of experience
developing and leading engineering teams and designing
semiconductor and communication products. Most
recently, Lunji was the general manager of Broadcom
China, where he established the team, responsible for
product development, operations and customer support.
Prior to his position at Broadcom, Lunji was the chief
software architect and principal software engineer for
Motorola’s Singapore Software Center where he Was a
Member of Motorola Science Advisory Associate (SABA)
in the areas of Embedded and DSP software development.
Lunji also hold various Academic positions. Lunji has
40 publications and patents. Lunji has a PhD and an
M.Eng.Sci. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from
the University of Queensland and a BE in
Telecommunications from Beijing University of Posts
and Telecommunications

CARL TEMME
Vice President of Marketing
Carl brings 20 years of experience developing and
marketing products in the wireless, PC, and semiconductor
industries. Prior to joining Atrua, he was the vice
president of product marketing for Airgo Networks,
where he helped to establish that company as a market
leader in Wi-Fi technology. Prior to Airgo, he held
senior marketing positions at Atheros Communications
and VLSI Technology. He was also a senior manager
in Accenture’s Electronics and High Tech consulting
practice where he helped Fortune 500 companies with
market strategies and product development processes.
Carl holds a Masters in Engineering Management from
Stanford University and a BSEE from UC Davis.

MARCIA TSUCHIYA
Vice President of Engineering
Marcia Tsuchiya brings 23 years of experience in development and management of engineering teams
in the field of biometrics, graphics and storage for both embedded and PC products.
She joined Atrua in 2002. Prior to joining Atrua, Marcia was a senior director of software engineering at Maxtor,
where she re-built the software team and successfully brought to the market few storage system products.
Prior to Maxtor, Marcia held management positions at Veridicom and Cirrus Logic.
While at Cirrus Logic, Marcia worked as a software developer,
manager and director been responsible for the software development of all graphics products,
managing teams from different locations and successfully shipping millions of graphics chips.
Marcia holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

CRAIG
VACHON
VP Corporate Development
Craig has been a serial entrepreneur for 20 years.
Craig joined Atrua with the acquisition of Varatouch
where he was the CEO. Prior to Varatouch, Craig
led a number of enterprise software and telecommunication
companies in the US, Canada, Japan, India, and the
UK. He previously held positions of CEO of Sirenic
(sold to Lipworth Capital), COO of Nextel International
Asia Pacific, and Director of New Business Development
at AT&T Wireless/ McCaw Cellular. Craig was
an "Angel" investor in Varatouch in 1998
and has helped various companies raise more than $940M
of investment capital throughout his career.

TIM
MARTIN
VP Sales
Tim has over 18 years experience in high tech companies
and has been involved in the sales and marketing of
semiconductor components for over 12 years. Tim joined
Atrua with the acquisition of Varatouch where he was
VP of Sales and Marketing. Prior to Varatouch, Tim
was VP of Sales and Marketing for Veo, a digital imaging
company where he grew the company from $5 to 80 million
in 2.5 years. Tim has also held positions at Hewlett
Packard’s Components Group and Hughes Aircraft
Company’s Space and Communications Group.
