Production Planner and Administrator

Job description:

  • Assists with tracking sub-contract manufacturing production flow for wafer based fingerprint sensors and miniature mechanical joy stick and touch disc controls.
  • Reviews with Operations and updates supplier demand forecasts on a monthly basis.
  • Assists with the preparation of Operations Supplier Demand Plan based on the monthly sales forecast.
  • Assists in the preparation of Operation's response to the monthly sales forecast.
  • Using demand plans, monitors sub-contract manufacturing partner's production capacity.
  • Reviews customer purchase orders, generates shipping requests and maintains related reports.
  • Communicates with Taiwan based manufacturing partners - by both phone and e-mail.
  • Prepares sub-contract Manufacturing Partner purchase requisitions to maintain production flow.
  • Manage the company contract administration process including NDAs, patent documentation and licensing agreements.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • 5 years of progressive Planning and / or Order Entry experience.
  • Ability to perform activities in support of manufacturing and sales.
  • Track record that can demonstrate multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills - Mandarin a plus.
